Community & Corporate Outreach
As members of the New Hampshire Businesses for Social Responsibility, Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce and Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, our agency believes that you can "do well while doing good". Our goal is to support all New Hampshire residents (K-12 students, adult learners and graduate students) in the pursuit of higher education with materials, advice and expertise. Our Community and Corporate Outreach Programs are designed to provide those you serve and your employees with information, helpful tools and expert advice about the college process. The workshops are free and do not promote or sell any products or services and can be scheduled during work hours for brown bag lunches, in the evenings or on Saturdays.
Early College Planning
Higher education is critically important, especially in today's complex world. During this presentation, we will provide parents of younger students (K-8) with the tools to encourage and support their children's educational aspirations. We will address questions parents may have about paying for college and will provide the facts about financial aid and saving for college. Attendees will receive our Early College Planning Guide.
During this presentation for parents of high school students, we provide information about the college admissions and financial aid process. Information to be covered includes: What qualifications are colleges looking for? What questions should be asked on a college tour? How do we apply for financial aid? Attendees will receive our college planning guide, The College Insider and The Essential Pocket Guide to Scholarships.
College Cost & Funding Strategies
While financial aid can make college more affordable, parents and students are expected to take primary responsibility for paying for post-secondary education. In this session, we will address options for managing college costs, applying for financial aid, and discuss college funding options. Attendees will receive the Financial Aid Organizer and The Essential Pocket Guide to Scholarships.
Returning to Learning
This program speaks to the concerns and issues of the adult student and may be especially appropriate for the company that offers tuition reimbursement. Attendees will receive access to a comprehensive career resource, financial aid information and details about various programs of study.
